The Strategy

Sleep isn’t solved by a single product. It’s unpredictable, emotional, and constantly changing—and parents are left navigating it on their own. I saw the opportunity to build something bigger: A true one-stop sleep resource where parents could learn what to buy, when to use it, and how to navigate everything in between.

I designed a system to:

  • Drive compounding organic growth through high-intent SEO
  • Deliver expert-backed, real-world guidance parents could trust
  • Establish HALO as a credible authority, not just a product brand
  • Activate content across email, paid, social, and on-site

Building the Hub

A connected ecosystem – not a blog:

  • Centralized hub structured around real search intent and parent needs
  • Seamless pathways from education → product discovery → purchase

  • Lifecycle flows delivering stage-specific guidance + product recommendations

This turned content into a personalized lifecycle engine—delivering the right guidance and products at exactly the right time.

 

Impact

  • 575K+ annual organic sessions, establishing content as a scalable acquisition channel
  • 100K+ sessions driven by a single high-intent article (18% of total traffic)
  • High-intent education converting up to 0.82% CVR at key decision-making moments
  • Hub experience outperforming standard blog pages in both engagement and conversion

But the real impact was systemic:

HALO had 30 years of credibility in sleep, but the digital experience didn’t reflect it. We were showing up to sell products, not to truly support parents. I set out to change that.

The goal wasn’t just to create more content. It was to create the kind of content that parents need while using our products and navigating sleep.

It was to redefine the role HALO plays in a parent’s life – from a product brand to a destination parents return to for guidance, reassurance, and answers.
